Vanishing Light High in the Night Sky

I saw a night star that appeared slowly in motion.

Upon pointing it to another they disagreed.

It then got smaller and there seemed a commotion.

It disappeared into space, was it cosmic debris?

I know things in night orbit can often reflect the sun.

But here to there they typically go through the sky.

This light was going away simply until it was none.

Should I mention it to others or merely accept to deny?

So I wondered if we were wrong in our Assessment.

The disappearing lights seemed higher than any seen.

Could the lights been a craft flown by a government?

It all appeared twinkling and like a star in its sheen.

As we watched on, in an instant… the lights were gone.

As if it saw our face…, then it headed to outer space.

Perseverance is Never Premature.

WE never give-up and admit defeat until WE arrive at the bitter-end.  Because, if WE were to give-up in defeat before that point, WE never would know absolutely that WE could not have been victorious if WE had done otherwise.

When Drinking from the Plastic Cup

When lifting the plastic soda cup to take a drink – as if through a straw or coffee-sippy-type lid, make sure you firmly grasp the flexible cup.  Do not rely on the superficial lid to stay in its proper place - as if grasping the cup through/around the edges of the lid.  If you do, you could well end-up wearing the contents of the cup and wishing you had done otherwise.

The Passage of Time in Perspective

While time itself might be nothing more than a variable used to measure motion, the passage of time seems to be a matter of perception and a function of how much time one has remaining and at their disposal.  

In other words, whether a task takes alot of time to complete is a matter of perspective and a function of how much time is left to complete the effort.  For instance, we all know that sometimes seconds seem to take hours to pass and at other times hours pass by like minutes.  As for another example of the relative weight of time and in keeping with the stated perspective theme, to schedule something for next week might seem soon to an adult while it might seem forever-away for a child.
