The War Machines

While the War Machines perfect ever better ways to kill,
People simply prefer the Machines not also annihilate the krill.

War Machines forever rationalize to disregard collateral damage,
For such innocent deaths should our taxes continue to pay homage?

While many prefer ignorance and only believe what they’re told,
Inquisitives are convinced the Machines typically seek only gold.

While our War Machine may be less bad and theirs purely evil,
All wonder why War Machines, simply, never appear as truthful.
